If going to a movie theatre is not quite up your alley, there is also a popular show that is releasing new episodes this month. And by the context, I feel like most of us could tell that it was Stranger Things: Season 5. Stranger Things is a show about kids dealing with the paranormal in the 80’s. Now, it is being released as a 2-parter (4 episodes at a time) with the first part already being released around Thanksgiving. A lot of people love these series mainly because of the beginning seasons where the cast is a lot younger. They seemed to feel more relation to the cast and how they perform. This season marks the end of the show for good, so I say you still watch it while it’s still trending. But I know many people would prefer staying with the things that they know. The cult classic holiday movies that will definitely keep you in the season’s mood.
One of the most popular Christmas movies with the most advertisements every year is probably The Grinch.The Grinch has about 3 versions: The original 1966 animated holiday special, which comes straight from the book, the 2000 live-action starring Jim Carey, and the most iconic 2018 animated version. All versions of the Grinch display him as a grumpy green creature who wanted to steal Christmas due to his heart being small and personal affairs as a child. Obviously, he comes around to love the holiday in the end, but there always has to be some conflict.
Other, less-advertised movies, but still well-known, are: Home Alone (the trilogy), A Christmas Story, Elf, Polar Express, A Christmas Carol, and many more. This time of year brings joy and such warm feelings for many. The best way that we can enjoy this time is to indulge in it with family and friends. So add these movies to a queue, grab some popcorn, and enjoy your break.
