Welcome to prom 101, where I’ll be discussing where to find your perfect outfit for this one-of-a-kind night. The most important general aspects of prom are feeling and looking your best, so here are a few places where I recommend you start your search for the perfect dress or suit as homework, with research done by yours truly.
1. Stacees
Frequent positive reviews for this site highlight its communication skills, offering quick shipping, custom sizing options, and the products themselves. I also personally enjoyed a few pieces myself when looking through this site, as well as their pricing range ( $98- $454). With all these factors combined, I felt this was a good addition to today’s lesson and topic when I decided to add this site.
2. So Good Beauty and Bridal
This store’s name is quite accurate, I say, as their color range is exactly that. so good! They are located in Duluth, and their newest prom dresses were released 3 days ago, according to their Instagram, in addition to their variety of styles that have been emphasized in past reviews. They also have accessories in store, and a lot of reviews compliment their customer service.
3. Flower’s Dress Boutique
This store is located in Gwinnett County, and they have a website as well. I noted they have high demand during my background check on the store/site, so I really recommend checking this store out both online and in person if you’re super curious, since it seems dresses are going fast. Their price range was a little higher ($249-$599), but based on pictures and reviews, I personally believe the results and product are worth the price.
And now I’m moving on to suits. Here are a few places you could get them!
4. SuitShop
After taking a look at their website for myself, what stood out most was their pricing and being able to get measured as well as looking at their suits in person. They also have a really good color range in case you’re feeling like you wanna try an untraditional color. Most of their overall reviews I’ve searched for compliment their customer service and their pricing, and are frequently positive.
5. Dillards
I was surprised to find suits on their website while thinking I was gonna look at dresses, but their designs are quite neat. When seeing reviews, I also noted that they take your measurements to ensure the suit is accurate in size. I enjoy their overall attention to detail, and their locations are very convenient.
6. D&K Suit City
With various locations, suit styles, as well as colors, and a wide variety of sizes, I figure this would be the most convenient place to find a suit. They have a website, and you can also purchase other accessories for your suits in person as well as online. You can find their shop at various places in Atlanta, from Decatur and Stone Mountain all the way to Morrow.
Since class is ending, I have some final advice: don’t forget it’s ok to feel stressed. Prom’s such a special moment, so I understand that the process of finding a perfect outfit isn’t 100% smooth sailing. So whenever things feel overwhelming or stressful, take a moment to unwind. Things will fall into place and make this night super awesome in the end. Good luck, and I’m sure if you are searching for your outfit, you’re gonna end up looking great!
